This statement piece features a sterling pendant Lord Shiva, the God of destruction, therefore renewal and new beginnings. From India, this necklace and pendant reflect a time-worn patina and the intrinsic character of handmade pieces.
The strand includes riverstone, lapis lazuli, sodalite and old shell beads hand carved by the Naga tribe in North Eastern India and Myanmar. There are also little sterling beads and relics; a scarab, which the Egyptians believed to be a symbol of eternal life and the Sun God Re, who's ever-returning nature was considered good luck. Scarabs were given to Egyptian nobility at the ascension to the throne as symbols of goodwill and fortune.
There's also a sterling cast seashell, and a Hindu diamond drop of Surya, the Sun God of light and wisdom in India.
